Aya means “color” in Japanese and “miracle” in Arabic. The idea for these earrings comes from the egg as a symbol of renewal and vitality. We used high quality oval pearls, which have the shape of an egg, with a smooth surface and a white, sparkling luster. The surface of these pearls is hand-carved to create a cracked texture, and scattered colored zirconia stones are set on top of the whole. All of these are made by hand.
 
This piece is handcrafted with recycled materials to help us reduce our environmental impact. The quality of the pearls is carefully hand-selected by us.
